Providing a full range of services for web designers:
Around the turn of the century, I began providing web site hosting solutions and aligning myself with major data centres and continued that for about six years. Although the actual work isn't hard if you have a good data centre and consists mainly of billing invoices, that's not what I really enjoy.
First introduced to computers in the 1980's with dbaseII and BASIC programming for my first database and interface for an industrial tool supply warehouse. When the World Wide Web came along, it was Langara College that taught me the fundamentals of HTML, Javascript and networking using Windows, which was quickly followed up with learning the new scripting language emerging called 'PHP' and web servers using Linux and Apache and MySQL. Haven't stopped learning since.
An experienced web developer with extensive programming, networking, computer and typographic skills. Expert with (x)HTML and CSS, and use unobtrusive, Ajax-y Web2.0 JavaScript. Knowledgeable of MVC frameworks like Smarty and comfortable using Fireworks and Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Dreamweaver etc. and own recent versions. Use Linux/Fedora on my own desktop along with the multitude of internet and software programs available on that platform. Experienced working independently or with multiple projects and teams and have good time management and communication skills, and would look forward to focusing exclusively on your needs.
